Converts an existing brake system  Most Manually Operated Crane Brake Systems installed prior to January 1970 used 1-1/8 inch diameter actuating cylinders and require between 100 and 400 PSI hydraulic pressure, 30 to 120 LB pedal force, to develop rated torque. Unless data is available to define the required torque for a specific crane, it is recommended that the actual braking to stop a specific crane be observed and recorded on the order for Type A/H-ERC Conversion System.
