      drum with brake in released
      position.
1.1 Actuator isn't fully extended
 
1.2 Not enough working stroke
 
1.3 Drum not running true
 
1.4 Brake movement seized or blocked
 
1.5 Clearance not equal

Reset stroke
 
Check, correct as necessary
 
Free all pivot points
 
Re-center brake on drum
Servicing
2.0 Actuator not fully extending
2.1 Improper brake spring setting
 
 
2.2 Lack of fluid

2.4 Wrong voltage to actuator motor
Re-adjust spring length per data sheet
 
Fill to the lower edge of the inlet opening with the actuator retracted
 
Replace with correct fluid type
 
Supply voltage must conform to voltage specified on actuator data plate
